Compare Contrast Essay Samples To Traditional High School Essays
Compare Contrast Essay Samples To Traditional High School EssaysWhen comparing contrast essay samples to traditional high school essays, you may have a different choice in terms of student-written document. It's not that the outline and style are drastically different, but you may need to give thought to the assignments given to students, the subject matter, and other pertinent issues.Schools may require certain students to take a standardized test of some sort. While some essay samples will help students work through the steps of what must be accomplished in the standardized test, you will need to compare those in order to find one that is as specific as possible. With standardized tests, you can't just rely on the writing sample or plan for each task. Most students who take a standardized test to understand what they are asked to do, but they can still find an easy-to-understand outline. For example, in many students' writing samples they'll usually write the outline, then go on to fill in the details of the overall test. If this is the case, you will need to focus on this outline, even if it isn't included with the sample. If it is included, however, consider the steps that students will be asked to complete in order to write the exam. Some schools offer a similar test, called the New Jersey State Knowledge Test, but many of them still choose to use a traditional high school style essay. In addition to evaluating students' knowledge of subjects like math, science, and geography, there are common formatting issues that must be addressed. Students must first write a chronological list of all of the questions, starting with the first. Then they must write each question and answer. The student is then asked to continue listing the answers, and the rest of the essay will follow, usually consisting of questions answered in reverse order. Afterward, students will often need to verify the information provided, which means they will need to review and possibly rewrite t heir essay. One advantage of these essays is that students can save them or add a few of the comparison aids for easy reference later. Other people also benefit from a resource like this. Students who've been criticized in the past for their essay writing skills can take advantage of a resource that helps them improve, whether they're already taking standardized tests or not. There are other changes that are changing the way students prepare for tests, and some of the new ways are coming from computers. For example, interactive software offers students new ways to ask questions. Interactive essay software gives students the ability to customize their test so that they'll find the answers they're looking for more easily, and it also helps them to design their outline to make the most of the available time for writing.

MARKETING ORIENTATION In the earlier days, Nike was known to be a product oriented organization. The motto was to just plainly and simply just sell shoes .Gradually that changed as a function of time with the focus shifting to a more customer oriented approach. Prime importance was given to the consumer by endlessly striving to develop new and high quality products catering to their specific needs whilst endearing them with the feel good factor(Armstrong ,Harker ,Kotler and Brennan 2009:41) Question is can an organisation only survive and continue to grow in the market by just being customer oriented? Well it is imperative to be customer oriented because if any organisation fails to value the importance of the customers and wants to trade on its own terms then in this competitive world, such an organisation will cease to exist. The only exception to this is that when an organisation works in a monopoly market which does not exist these days. Organisations have the onus of keeping the stakeholders happy. Othellos Diverse Themes Essay - 1947 Words
Othelloââ¬â¢s Diverse Themes Othello is one of William Shakespeareââ¬â¢s tragedies which thrives on a group of themes. Letââ¬â¢s see if we can sort them out and determine the dominant ones from the lesser ones. The pain which the audience experiences is no accident, but rather one of the themes written into the play. Critic Caroline Spurgeon in ââ¬Å"Shakespeareââ¬â¢s Imagery and What it Tells Usâ⬠explains the significant contribution which imagery makes to the theme of pain and unpleasantness running through the play: The main image in Othello is that of animals in action, preying upon one another, mischievous, lascivious, cruel or suffering, and through these, the general sense of pain and unpleasantness is much increasedâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Nor is this all. Such jealousy as Othelloââ¬â¢s converts human nature into chaos, and liberates the beast in man; and it does this in relation to one of the most intense and also the most ideal of human feelings. Francis Ferguson in ââ¬Å"Two Worldviews Echo Each Otherâ⬠describes: On the contrary, in the ââ¬Å"worldâ⬠of his philosophy and his imagination, where his spirit lives, there is no cure for passion. He is, behind his mask, as restless as a cage of those cruel and lustful monkeys that he mentions so often. It is enough for him that he ââ¬Å"hatesâ⬠the Moor. . . .(133) Act 1 Scene 1 opens with an expression of jealousy and hatred: Roderigo is upbraiding Iago because of the elopement of the object of his affections ââ¬âDesdemona -- with the Moor: ââ¬Å"Thou toldââ¬â¢st me thou didst hold him in thy hate.â⬠Iago responds with an expression of hatred, saying that he does indeed hate the general because he ââ¬Å"Nonsuits my mediators; for, ââ¬ËCertes,ââ¬â¢ says he, / ââ¬ËI have already chose my officer.ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬ Lily B. Essay about Analysis of Beethoven Symphony 3 and Mozart...
Beethoven Symphony No. 3 and Mozart Symphony 40 Forms Sonata form is one of the more popular forms of music that is found in a variety of different works including symphonies, concertos, and sonatas. Sonata form features three distinct sections: the exposition, development, and recapitulation. Mozart was one of the early composers of this form of music. I will examine the clear distinctions between each section and how he does not stray from the typical form. In later years the form would change to become more fluent and focused on the growth and expansion of the piece. This progression of change was led by the works of Beethoven and the changes can be clearly seen in his grandiose works. By comparing the first movement of Symphonyâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦The recapitulation is much like the exposition, except it does not modulate. All of these sections can be seen in the Mozart and Beethoven movements that are being analyzed and relatively easy to identify. In the Mozart symphony, sections defined by strong cadences. An easy e xample would be at the end of the exposition where there is a PAC in ms. 99. Following that is a rest and then an appearance of F-sharp minor. This is the beginning of the development. The end of the development ends with a huge forte with a pedal tone and a cadence at ms. 160. The wind section quietly brings the section to a close as the strings reintroduce the primary theme back in the original key of G minor. These large sections are not likely to be mistaken. Beethoven too has clearly defined the large sections of the sonata form. His exposition begins after two opening chords with the theme in the cello section. The exposition closes with full orchestral chords in a perfect authentic cadence around ms. 144-148 and after a short link/transition the development begins at ms. 166. The development closes with huge orchestral chords. The big pictures for Mozart and Beethoven line up, but a closer and deeper look reveal that the small sections are quite different. Mozarts smalle r sections continue to remain clearly defined, but Beethoven tends to blur it all together. So when we speak to people we must be aware not to be over/too familiar. When we communicate with people from different backgrounds we should use the right gestures and body language so that they know that we are being friendly towards them. Speak clear and slow as talking to fast could cause others to misinterpret us, and cause misunderstandings, and we should always use plain English. Some phrases that we use every day may be offensive to people of certain cultures or religions and this is all the more reason that we treat everyone equally, fairly and without bias. Also different hand gestures mean different things depending on the country that the person is from so what may be a friendly gesture to us may be an insulting one to them. The language barrier doesnââ¬â¢t only apply to different cultures and countries; it can also apply to different areas of the UK.
